Meet Sarah

 

Sarah is a Yoga Alliance Professionals UK accredited teacher with over 2500 hours teaching experience and 20 years personal practise. She offers classes in a range of styles including private sessions tailored to individual needs. Sarah encourages correct and safe alignment and offers hands-on assists to help students reach their full potential. Classes are intelligently sequenced with focus on breathwork and mindfulness, ending with a guided relaxation to help you float away into a truly relaxed state of body and mind.

 

Sarah is also an Ayurvedic Massage Therapist and  Consultant, studying Ayurvedic medicine with The Ayurvedic Institute. She offers individualised treatments in her massage therapy room in Millbrook, plus diet and lifestyle consultations that find and treat the root cause of a disease, using the sophisticated and powerful holistic healing system of Ayurveda to reach optimum health of body, mind and soul. In addition, Sarah is a Reiki Master, offering Reiki Healing treatments and attunement courses.

Ayurvedic Therapy

 

Just as a machine needs to be oiled, the body loves to have its largest organ, the skin, soothed, which is why large quantities of therapeutic oils are used in Ayurvedic massage.

Its calm approach means that you will not only be induced into a relaxed state during the massage, regular massage assists the body in self-healing. It relaxes the muscles, nerves and bones, removes tension, reduces pain and calms the mind. Massage aids the digestive system by maintaining the proper balance and circulation of body gases. It induces deep sleep, increases the appetite and generally makes life more joyful. 

Yoga Classes & Retreats

 

Sarah teaches a range of yoga styles including Vinyasa Flow, Yoga for Beginners, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, HIIT Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Parent & Baby Yoga and Teen Yoga.

Private classes can take place in the comfort of your home or holiday accommodation, at a community venue or on the beach (tides and weather permitting).
